Science Diet

We all love our pets, that’s a given. We all took the time to go down to our local SPCA or other organization with pets in abundance or made the effort to take one off the streets. They were all homeless, all alone, and our hearts reached out to them. Sappy, but true.

One of our responsibilities as a pet owner is to make sure our kitties and puppies are well fed and happy. A new plan called the Science diet has become the latest fad. It combines a mixture of benefits such as weight loss for overweight animals and is jam packed with nutrients and vitamins. The Science diet is designed to each individual category, whether it be hairball control, weight lost, weight gain, and most especially, age groups. Each of these groups has individual instructions attached with exactly what amount you should feed your pet each day.

Typically, a cat can live to age thirty five, but the average life span is more like fourteen. The same goes for a dog: they could live to be twenty seven but their average is only thirteen! Genetics for certain breeds and individual animals will play a role, but the Science diet can help because it is quite wholesome.

Depending on what your animal eats now, it may or may not find the Science diet likeable at first. Some animals, especially cats, can be finicky eaters but eventually, they can be weaned onto it. Try adding in small doses of the Science diet into the food they’re used to eating and go from there, adding a bit more each time until eventually, it’s pure. This way, it won’t give a surprise to the animal, and they’ll already be used the taste, otherwise your pet could decide that since it’s just this once, it’ll skip a meal. That’s not good for their metabolism.

Keeping your pets full will keep them happy, and that’s the most important thing of all!
